Your guide to Oktoberfest 2020 at The Bavarian
Oktoberfest 2020 may have been cancelled in Munich, and travel plans quashed, but not so the quench for Oktoberfest beers, so The Bavarian has stepped in.
Step 1: Call up the beer crew and book a table. If you have your dirndl and lederhosen stored away, now’s the time to bust them out!
Step 2: Start the Oktoberfestivities with a stein of your favourite German beer. There are seven different kinds on tap including Löwenbräu, Franziskaner Hefe Weissbier Dunkel, Franziskaner Hefe Weissbier Hell, Hofbräu Original, Hofbräu Dunkel, Paulaner, and Spaten.
Step 3: Treat your tastebuds to the flavours of Oktoberfest!
PERFECT FOR GROUPS:
Tuck into the Oktoberfest Feasting Menu ($39PP), which includes pretzels to start, the Signature Tasting platter to share, complete with the famous pork knuckle, crackling pork belly, a trio of plump German sausages, golden schnitzels and all the Bavarian trimmings. Finish off with a häus-made apple strudel served with vanilla ice cream.
LIMITED-EDITION SCHNITZEL:
Joining the menu for October only is a loaded schnitzel that is packed with the flavours of Oktoberfest! Think sauté potatoes, wurstsalat (sausage salad), pickled onions, mustard dressing and fries.
Step 4: A trip to The Bavarian is not complete without our legendary schnapps. There are seven flavours, including butter toffee, peach and mango. Schnapps is served on a metre-long schnapps paddle accompanied by the famous schnapps bell.
So join in on the fun from October 1 to October 31 as we raise a stein to Oktoberfest.
